Post #10- What’s in My Closet

They always say a woman’s closet can never be too big, but the only problem is I find myself not having any space left. I have more clothes than you can think. I think I may have a slight addiction to shopping. My closet is filled with a variety of brands, such as Zara, H&M, Aritzia, Urban Outfitters and so many more. From multiple different retailers such as winners and thrift stores. In my video I’ve paired some of my favourite pieces together, hopefully you get some inspiration for some new fall fits. Enjoy!

I’ve linked below my favourite YouTuber; she has inspired my whole closet from a very young age. Check her out, she’s awesome

Post #9- DIY Halloween Costume Idea

Halloween is just around the corner, and it’s time to get spooky. Do it yourself, I love homemade Halloween costumes they always turn out to be the best. This year I have an amazing and cute idea for all you cuties.

A TOURIST!

This outfit is way easier than you would think, I bet you also got everything in your closet right now! Even if you don’t this is a very inexpensive costume. Everyone has a pair of shorts, doesn’t matter if its cotton, jeans or satin just throw on a pair. You can match these bottoms with a cute bikini top or cropped tank, somewhat of an everyday summer outfit. Grab some flipflops, floppy hat and sunglasses now your all accessorized. If you want to go above and beyond stop at your local thrift store and dollar store to check out if they have any potential additions to your outfit. For example, I found a coconut cup to put my drinks in and a lei. Overall, I spent $4.50 on this whole outfit. A tourist is an easy, cheap, cute and last-minute Halloween costume idea!

About half my closet is from the thrift store, you’ll be surprised at the amazing finds that at are at consignment stores! Yes, its second hand but fashion is one of the highest polluters. I never really thought about it before I stepped my foot into the fashion world. When you think about where do all the clothes go? From the first day you were born, to the elementary school sparkly Justice tops, from your high school grows pert to now. I mean, I don’t know about you by I’m constantly updating my closet and getting rid of old clothes.

Upcycling clothing is one of the best things you can do to save the planet as a fashion lover!

Throughout my years I have learned some tips to find the best, of the best at local thrift stores:

Tip #1- You must be opened minded. Elevate your personal style, you like the shirt but its way to long CROP IT! I love the crop tees; it can honestly transform a top from the 80s to a cute sexy everyday essential. Get creative

Tip #2- Don’t focus on sizing. It’s so easy to tailor a pair of jeans to fit nice and tight around the bum. Wear an oversized sweater a dress! This look is so in, streetstyle is making its appearance, join the trend!

Tip #3– Have patience. They say it’s a virtue and when thrifting it is. Cute clothing isn’t just going to pop out at you, you must look. There are racks beyond racks of clothing, you need to search to find the best!

My wish list is a never-ending story, somehow the additions keep roll’n in. I’m absolutely in love with ALL these new fall trends. Inspiration is everywhere, not only on social media but as simple as walking to the grocery store. It doesn’t take a celebrity like famous Kendall Jenner or Bella Hadid to inspire me, woman on the street continue to amaze me.

On the very top of my list I have the trouser, I’ve been seeing this look everywhere. Woman have been rock’n this look not only in the office, but on the street. You can pair these trousers with a cute corset lace top, small tank top with an oversized jean jacket… totally a look. Next up we have the cropped cardigan specifically in the shade baby blue. Get ready everyone this colour is so coming back and I’m thrilled.

The tiny purse is making an appearance this fall 2020 season, the handheld handbag is crucial aspect to every outfit. The staple black Prada bag is quite high up on the list, although it comes at a price. This handbag will mostly be on my wish list for a while but it’s something to work towards and treat myself to, when the time is right.

Look what as came upon the surface once again; crazy patterns, bell bottoms, suede, the collar and a matchup of all different colours. That 70’s style is making an appearance in the closet of many. Groovy town is this 2020 spring season. Yves Saint Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld and Diana von Furstenburg have all been incorporating 70’s fashion into their designs for decades. Bright colours specifically neon’s are trending this spring. Puffy sleeves and tiered dresses, with a loose fit will attract many buyers this spring. Matching a neon print with a floral pattern will be THE outfit. Make sure you update your wardrobe my lovelies because spring is just around the corner.

Post #3- What Colours are POP’N

As spring is arriving just around the corner, it is crucial that my followers know what colours are trending and in this 2020 season. As always, the winner is neutrals, what a surprise. Neutrals are never not trending, you cannot go wrong with a nice light grey, dark grey, nudes, browns, blacks, off whites etc… we love them. Runner up this season we have sky blue. a lovely, calm and tranquil blue. An ombre and shades of light blue will complement many other colours, skin tones and personalities. Hello yellow! Sunshine and warmth are coming this spring season, a lemon yellow is seen on countless runways. This shade will for sure bright up a room and make a woman feel confident and unstoppable. The temperature is rising with a bold, sexy red this spring. This eye catching powerful, rich red goes lovely with a tan olive skin, but even for a woman with pale undertones. It is bold and fun for this spring season. Be sure lovelies to have the perfectly balanced closet this season, leaving you looking fresh and young.

I am beyond grateful for all the girls in my life. The new, the old and everything in-between, the ones who have been there through thick and thin, the sad and happy times. Some of the most amazing memories I have are with my best friends. Growing up with one of my closest and longest friend, Victoria. The girls that showed me it’s okay to be myself, loosen up and have fun, are my high school friends; Vanessa, Skylar, Grace, Jada and Marissa. My newest, most caring and giving friends that I am beyond glad to share a house with are Makayla, Ella, Lauren, Nicole and Lucy. All of the girls have been by my side when I need them the most. Best friends are the ones who have been there for you through the good times, the rough moments, and all the unstopped laughs. They pick you up when you’re feeling down and lift you up even higher when you’re on top of the world. They’re your other half and partner in crime, and these best friends make a better and happier person every day. I am beyond thankful for every single one of them.

New York City

Well, I went on this trip to New York City and it was quite a time. I went with my lovely family, which consists of; my mother, father and loving, sweet, totally not spoiled little brother. We started our trip at the Metropolitan Museum which was beyond beautiful, filled with art and creativity. Seeing some of the most famous art pieces was insane. Being a fan of the tv series Gossip Girl, which was filmed and based off of New York City, I had to make a stop at some of the most iconic places. For all you Gossip Girl lovers, who know what I’m talking about I went to Grand Central Station where Sirena was first caught back in NYC. The Empire State Hotel where Chuck would throw the most insane gatherings, Blairs’ famous tearoom etc… I even made a pit stop where Nate and Sirena fell in love. It was beyond the most amazing trip ever and I will most amazing trip ever and i will most defiantly be going again.

Kendall Jenner

Ever since I was young, Kendall Jenner has always been a fashion icon that I look up to highly. I’m constantly keeping up with her latest looks and fashion trends. I believe her style to me is clean, chic, fresh and it seems to always have a little twist to it. Rather it be a crazy printed silk dress, or a fancy pair of earrings to spice up a look. She is very rarely caught wearing something that is too basic or out of style. Kendall Jenner is a huge fashion influence in today’s day and age and many young fashion forward females and males idolize her and admire her looks.

Kendall was caught wearing this gorgeous Versace dress, in September of 2019. This slip dress is paired with a bold, animal skin heels. Kendall isn’t afraid to wear what she wants and make a statement, which is why I look up to her the most. She doesn’t care was people have to say, if she likes it, she wears it and that isnt always easy to do.
Kendall also knows how to make a baggy white dress shirt look amazing. That ragged, oversized look is trendy and in and she knows how to work every single piece in this outfit.
